Returns & Exchanges

At Kalamkaari, each piece is hand block printed and inspected individually before it reaches you, so returns and exchanges are handled thoughtfully rather than as a routine transaction. Please read this policy before your purchase.

Exchange Window

We accept exchange requests within 7 days of delivery, provided the piece is unused, unworn, unwashed, and in its original packaging with all tags intact. Please email us at kalamkaari.pk@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for exchange within this window.

Exchanges, Not Refunds

As our pieces are made in small batches and often unstitched, we offer exchanges or store credit, not cash refunds, except where required by law or in the case of a verified manufacturing defect. Store credit is issued at the original purchase price and does not expire.

Non-Returnable Items

Pieces that have been cut, stitched, tailored, or altered in any way
Pieces showing signs of wear, washing, or use
Items purchased during a limited or seasonal collection, unless defective
Gift-wrapped or boxed items where the seal has been broken, unless defective

Defective or Damaged Items

As hand block printing is an artisanal process, slight variation in print placement, colour tone, or motif spacing is characteristic of the craft and not considered a defect. If you receive a piece that is genuinely damaged in transit or materially different from what was ordered, please email us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue, and we will arrange a replacement or store credit at no cost to you.

How to Request an Exchange

Email kalamkaari.pk@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number, the reason for exchange, and photos if relevant.
Once approved, we will share return instructions. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective.
Once we receive and inspect the returned piece, your exchange or store credit will be processed within 5–7 business days.
